Why do I have a 4WD/ABS warning light when I dont have 4WD ? Its not that I'm having any problems it just doesn't make any sense.

Then I guess Mazda were being tight or stuck for space for an extra dashlight and combined the ABS with 4WD. I have both but to be honest have not paid much attention to the signage on the lamp. As it is full time 4WD there isn't much point in having a light to tell me it's engaged and if it fails I think it would get noisy enough without the need for a light!
So in conclusion I guess it's a misnomer and should just read 'ABS'.
