sediment and charge - uphill only

Post by zigzag » Wed Jul 02, 2014 3:23 pm

My sediment and charge lights come on but only under hard 'acceleration' e.g. going up a steep hill and getting my foot down 'on the gas pedal'. Any suggestions?

Alternator error condition, maybe check the belt, but it is usually the alternator itsef.

the alternator can under charge or over charge, or break down when revved hard, all may put your warning lights on.
