Plasti Dipped AFT

Well. The AFT has been Plasti Dipped today. The results are fab.

That looks the business - let's have some close ups of the texture. And is that a very smart mounting arrangement for a solar panel?

I absolutely love that. And what solar panel kit is it that comes with such an elegant mounting frame (which looks to have been plasti-dipped with the roof?)

Lovely job, can you tell us the final cost please.

PS is it a stock colour or did they mix it, very good match.

The panel brackets are just off the shelf ones, from ebay, sold as motor home solar panel bracket. Bonded to the roof using sikaflex.

cost of the plasti dip was £100 all in, standard colour, it's genuine plasti dip too.

Did you spray that yourself? If so how many cans did it take. Looks brilliant!

the results are stunning. Coming from the Steel Tube Trade many moons ago I can recollected plastic dips for coating tube but I don't think I ever came across a "dip" big enough to take a roof. Was it dipped or was it preheated then sprayed???
