Hi all
Bit of advice please, as per an earlier thread my gearbox gave up today so ordered a new one from George.
The garage fitting the replacement is a solid, reliable one however, I did mention an oil leak from the bottom of the bell housing ( front of, where it meets the engine ) and the mechanic said it would be worth replacing the rear main seal. Upon searching for the said seal I cannot find any info anywhere so am not sure what seal he means! I believe it may be a flywheel crank seal but would appreciate any advice on what he means please?
What seal would you think it maybe .....
Thanks in advance
Help re oil seal?

Thanks for the info, looking at the diagram this seal leaking would make sense why there is oil around the bottom of the bell housing.
