Welcome patsygirl.

Whether a tin top or an AFT there are several models in the Bongo shop (link in top right corner of page) that'll suit either, as to which one would be right for you depends on what are the important considerations for you - how much space you need day and/or night, convenience of assembly/disassembly, packed size, etc.

I have a Khyam Motordome as I generally travel on my own (aside from the cat who's not much help as she lacks opposable thumbs) and I can put it up or take it down on my own in a couple of minutes. It is quite bulky and the aluminium poles add weight but for convenience it's hard to beat although the new air beam awnings seem to be handy if expensive.

If there is one in the Bongo shop you fancy consider becoming a member first as the cost of membership could easily be offset by the savings of being a member.

we use an easycamp daytona, budget awning but more than adequate, can flap a bit in the wind, put some extra guys on for our next trip
