Bongy is self bleeding, so more likely a blocked filter than air in the system.

Others will help soon. [-o<

You don't say if it ran normally when feeding the pump from the clean diesel in the jar :?
Your symptoms are those of a blocked fuel filter or, if it's old enough to have one, the banjo filter on the pump. Or, if it happened suddenly, you may have sucked something into the air filter or it's ducting.

Might be worth changing main fuel filter and prime it with some injector cleaner. Are you getting any smoke out the exhaust, and if so, what colour? Also have have checked for leaks around the injector pump? If you've got fuel leaking around the pump then you will also be sucking in air which will mess up the mixture. Finally, have you checked the air intake ducting and filter? It sounds like the engine is being starved of fuel or air.

the air intake is fine there is white smoke from the exhaust there looks to be fuel around the very top of the pump will take a pic tomorow and post

How's your coolant level? White smoke can occur when it's damp, low compression or be a sign of water/coolant in the combustion process. It can also indicate unburnt fuel: http://www.costeffective.com.au/news_show.php?StoryId=9

coolant level is fine i think the smoke is unburnt fuel as even on full throtle it will not rev all i can think is its down to the fuel pump or the seals in the pump
