Tried both keys in the ignition today, and neither of them will turn before a few attempts. Any ideas folks? Thanks.

Only just got mine but the steering lock did seem to need quite some jiggling before it let me turn the key the other day.

steering lock ?, try turning your steering wheel both ways whilst gently trying to turn ignition switch, its quite stiff with engine off.

Are they new keys?, may need a light rub over with emery to take the edge of them.

Sorry cant be of more help.

Thanks, both keys are a few years old, and I can't even jiggle the steering wheel to take the steering lock off.

Try to leave the steering in the straight ahead position. Could be the barrel in the ignition lock may be wearing out?? If your keys have a number maybe ask Tom to cut you a new one - search lock barrels for the thread with info

Try pushing the brake pedal, then press the big button on the gear selector and jiggle shifter gently back and forth. [-o<

If the steering wheel won't move definitely sounds like steering lock. Use a bit of strength to turn the wheel to release the pressure off the lock. Had this problem with loads of customers at Toyota(elderly mostly).
