hi all, would like to know what sort of reading i should be getting from my leisure battery with an altimeter,got 12.6 on normal battery but leisure battery was only reading 1.2, any info,thanks

If your measuring 1.2 volts with a multi-meter then its really probably only going to be good for the dump!
If its been like it for a while then seriously its dead, if it was charged immediately for a good 48Hours+ on a proper charger, not a small maintenance type one, then it might be recoverable but it will have severely shortened the life of the battery.

HI, do you mean 12volts if so that should be ok.

If you really mean 1.2 volts you have a problem.

dont know how it got so low,it may have been like that since i bought it as i have always used the hook up.

Take it down the scrap metal yard
You will get between £5-£10 for it
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.
