I noticed today my oil pressure warning light was not working removed wire from switch thinking that if it was the switch the lamp would light up as it should fail to safety no removed dash checked lamp by swapping it lit up as everything else is working is the switch on a fuse of its own unable to access drawings no flash on my I pad

Dunno about the Bongo ..

Normally to test for continuity .. if you remove the wire from parts like the oil pressure switch .. temp. sender .. fuel gauge sender etc: and touch it to earth .. if the bulb is OK .. the wire / fuse is not broken .. the light should illuminate (or the relevant gauge go to full / hot)..
