I've just bought a 1995 2.5TD Bongo and a few things are bugging me.....
1) Both keys open and shut all the locks with the exception of the passenger door which they will only open. I can, of course, lock it by pressing the button down and holding the handle up as I shut it, or use the CDL. Should the keys lock that door as well?
2) Is there any way of using the electric blinds without having to have the ignition turned on....I've visions of having to clamber over the front seat to put the key in before we get up every morning on a camp site!
3) That damned warning buzzer....before I pull the fuse out, is it wired into any other circuits such that without the buzzer certain things won't work?
Thanks for your patience....thank goodness such a forum exists!
John

Hi John.
Did you manage to sort out your electric bind issue? I have the same problem and thought I would try you first before making a new thread. I just cannot see the point in electric blinds if you need to go round to the front to put keys in the ignition.
As for the warning buzzer, just grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

No I didn't....as a matter of fact, the blinds have been playing up. It turned out to be a dirty switch connection on the switch behind the hob/sink unit!!! I was not a happy chappy. However, it was sorted...but my wife and I have decided that now is the time to give up bongoing; our ages and infirmities are finally catching up with us.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that.
Strangely, that comment coincides with me recently breaking my wrist in 3 places. We are off to Weyfest tomorrow with a giant awning to put up. My days could soon be numbered too lol.
