Cylinder head fitment

Hi All,

I will be fitting a new cylinder head the weekend I have the engine work shop manual and could do with a bit of clarification it tells you to apply silicone sealant to the cylinder head but I can really make out exactly were to apply any ideas?

Thought I would update this

The new cylinder head gasket had a bead of silicone on it in the same area as shown in the manual so I went with that and touch wood 2500 miles later engine still running with no problems touch wood.....
