about to drill holes bit of info first

Hi all before i drill through the centre of the head lining to fit our fold down tv bracket is there any thing behind which needs to be removed? the retaining screws will protrude into the roof under the materess

Wiring for the light ? Hope your TV isn't to heavy will the gas supports hold the load ?

Geoff it wont be supported by the gas struts just the metal roof inbetween the driver and passenger

Hi, I have done this and didn't come across any wires , but that doesn't mean that there aren't wires there.....do small holes first and look inside with a torch. Dave

Thers nothing in there but you can remove the floor inside the roof of the cab(on an AFT) to see the bare roof. Mine has 2 holes in front of this section and 2 underneath this section.

No I thought he was putting on the roof board which lifts up!
As far as I know the roof over the cabin is double skinned, once you lift the board out in the AFT you have a ribbed surface, whilst underneath it appears to be smooth when I fitted an extra lamp. There won't be any wires towards the rear, of the existing cab lights.

Be careful drilling thru headlining material as it will catch on the drill bit and end up like spaghetti wrapped around a fork.
