My designs for anyone that wants them

Post by trxbloke » Fri Jun 14, 2013 12:06 am

As I have posted in reply to another thread ...

I'm in the process of doing a half side conversion, the rear half, which will give me a full width bed to the legs, or 2 singles, using the front seats as the bottom of the bed, and new rear seats which will drop down to form the head end of the bed(s). I have finished the design, and am waiting for the chairs/beds to be built.

I have finished building my sink/cooker/fridge/gas and water unit which is 80cm long and 60cm deep. It fits from behind the speaker grille to the rear door on the offside. this allows the rear door to be opened from the inside.

I have a Google "Sketchup" 3D model if anyone is interested. It shows location of the gas, water, sink/cooker (Smev 8322) and fridge (Waeco CRP-40) and all dimensions. I also have a sketchup model of the seat frames, including holes for mounting to existing floor holes.

Instead of posting pictures, which I cant get my head around, please feel free to browse my web site where I am posting my progress. The 3d drawings are there, but if anyone wants the sketchup files then PM me. http://www.trxbloke.webspace.virginmedi ... Bongo.html

Kitchen unit now completed, still awaiting seats. So far all working out as designed, which is remarkable given that I designed it on my Mac using Google Sketchup.
