Can you identify a wire for me please?

Post by TerryG » Tue Jun 11, 2013 1:23 pm

It's a black insulated wire leading from the driver's side AFT motor and disappearing through/under the driver's side AFT hinge. That particular hinge is caked with rust and I'm worried the wire will suffer. If it's an earth, no prob as i can relocate it. If it's a power feed that's a bit more of a problem as I have a rear kitchen which makes access to the control box somewhat tricky.
Thx in advance.

It,s very unlikely a black wire would be power.....generally black is earth....but a few continuity tests should soon prove or otherwise.

It sounds like its the earth wire that feeds the switches and lights etc. on the inside top of the AFT connector M2-03 pin A;
