Glow plug solenoid location

Post by Timnz » Wed Aug 16, 2006 1:02 am

Can someone post a picture or discribe where this solenoid is? I want to hook up a momentary switch for the glow plugs so I don't have problems like others with the glow plugs burning out!

Doesn't anyone think that the glow plugs fail quicker in the Bongo cause you need to have the ignition turned on all the time to raise the AFT roof?

Under bonnet, offside, against the wing. One of three. Has very thick wires going to it.
Details probably in the factsheet in the owners' club site on how to do the modification.
You could be right about the premature failure.

It's easier to get to if you remove the battery. :)
