Post by Laskey's » Tue May 28, 2013 5:15 pm

Hi looking for help

My diesel bongo has just started smoking white smoke when revved at about 2000rpm and the engine judders, when driven there is plenty of revving but a distinct lack of power and struggles to accelerate.

any help please

Could be a blocked fuel filter or banjo filter.

I'd sit him down and give him a talk. Something along the lines of "I started smoking at the age of 14, but I never had a proper girlfriend until my mid-twenties. It was because I stunk of fags all the time. It could happen to you too. Just because your friends smoke it doesn't mean it's cool. In fact it proves you are a big man if you can stop. Plus look at all the money you will save."

Top man John

changed the fuel filter and cleaned out the Banjo a couple of hours ago, problem sorted! drives like a dream again, the Banjo filter was full of small rubber pieces can only guess that a few months ago I had a fuel leak and the seal in the fuel pump were replaced this must be pieces of the old seals

Again many thanks for your help
