Bongo. Alloy wheel nuts

Does anyone know if original bongo alloy wheel nuts are compatable with rx8 wheels?

I am not sure about the answer other than to say its likely if the alloys are within whats permissible for the vehicle (ie fall within the handbook spec for wheel sizes -- you usually find the nuts will fit--this would not be likely if the wheels are outside the handbook spec. In that situation the alloy wheel supplier should offer a matching wheel nut set.

Obviously the main thing is to check the nut taper is compatible with taper on the wheel otherwise it will stress the wheel and could cause it to break.
One way I have done this in the past is to put the wheel on with four nuts, just tight enough to hold the wheel on, then use some engineers blue marking compound. Smear the blue on the taper of the last nut, tighten it up gently, take it off again and check to see if the blue has transferred to all the taper surface on the wheel. (I guess shoe polish would work at a pinch as well if you can't get any blue.) If all the surface is covered you should be OK, if not then the odds are the taper is wrong.

I have RX-8 wheel nuts fitted, same taper seat just smaller "Head" size.

Thought they would fit look similar head size being only diff.my alloys have been refurbed but ive not seen or collected them as yet bn busy but will post photos once i get them
