Insulation ?

iv just put insulation in my door panels and boot door, has anyone else done this and does it help the van stay warmer?

I've put bitumen in the doors for sound deadening, and sound insulation in between the damp membrane and the door cards.
I'd love to see photos of yours (please).

I used some sheets of dense foam in my last Bongo. Seemed to make it a bit warmer and reduced the road noise.

Be careful not to go too mad with insulation. I know someone who used loads of rockwool and now they find it's too hot when they're aboard and have to sleep with all the windows open.

God, I hope I'm gonna moan about being hot in 3 weeks... When I'm in the middle of the new forest with no hook up xx every may I camp out and I freeze [-o<
