Ordered myself some fancy 50 led reverse light bulbs. Went to fit them this morning. Original bulb is push fitting rather than the bayonet I assumed. Doh
Can anyone tell me what type I'm after now? I.e. 501 382 etc

Cheers

Japanese style LED bulbs are quite rare and expensive .. and not really brighter than the cheaper Tungsten 21watt ..

The above pic is the bayonet style and quite easy ..cheapish to source ... but not so the big cap less bulbs as used on many Japanese cars and motor bikes,

I was given some 382 type led bulbs.....these come with a spotlamp type lens.

Absolutely fantastic...as to the origin....would need to speak to The Laird on here.

I just tried some of the led ones similar to
Jaylees ones. They didn't fit properly and ended up
Not working. Put some new filament ones in, instead.

All bulbs have a general model type:-

501,286,380,380,410,472 That sort of thing.

The bulb you want had a 382 designator. That would be 21W single post bayonet if a normal tungsten bulb.

Talk to The Laird..........he gave me a couple of 382 equivalent bulbs that are superb.
