Hi All,
I'm still having intermitant HOLD light gearbox problems and I'm working my way around all the engine sensors. What I would like to do is clear the ECU fault codes after each bit of work to see if I've made a change.
Things done so far, gearbox service and oil change, speedo chip removed, speedo o/p sensor changed, drive shaft speed sensor changed, air i/p temp sensor changed, gear box cable conectors split and cleaned.
I've had a quote of £1800 for a new gear box fitting but if I spend that and the fcuking thing still plays up I would be a long way from happy.........!
So if any of you have a quick and simple way to clear the fault codes please shout up.
Thanks
Howie

Duct tape is like the FORCE, it has a dark side and it holds the universe together.

Disconnect the battery or remove the 10 Amp top row, left fuse (to remove the backup supply) and make sure that the 12 volts is fully discharged, normally by pressing on the break pedal a couple of times to ensure that any stored charge is removed. All with the ignition fully OFF.
