I've not used Protex, but I do usesed Ultraseal, which is a different brand. A guy called Richard Moorhouse (West Yorks based!) came to our house and did it in an hour for a total cost of ?75.

Having suffered a blow out on my last Bongo (at low speed) it certainly gives you peace of mind.

I've recently bought some of the Greased Lightning variant for my wheel barrows and ride-on mower ( I have a large garden with hawthorn hedges :( ). The product is designed for road tyres but although I cannot personally guarantee it for this purpose, it works fine for my application. About 12 quid for a bottle that will do two car tyres ie. ?24 all round.
