Split charger
Hi there people could anyone give me a bit of advice on how to test my willinton split charger.Just recent it has been making a clicking noise when i am at a stand still with engine ticking over,i am getting 13 to 14 vollt at LB terminals.The noise i have heard before but only when i have been camped up over night and just using LB.
.Many thanks again

Re: Split charger
I would suggest that is quite normal.
The relay is operating when it sees that the S/B voltage is at the switching voltage. The voltage from the S/B will vary with temperature as well as charge rate and I would expect the relay to operate at somewhere between 13-14 volts. Also remember that the charge voltage increases with a reduction in temperature (the opposite to what a lot of people expect!);
