Difficult to explain so please bear with me. Although this doesn't cause me any issues other than slight irritation... When I steer turn the steering wheel to corner then press the accelerator coming out of the corner the steering feels like its pumping or slowly cavitating. Any ideas?

low fluid maybe, check its up to the line.
if its ok check the colour of the fluid it should be bright red and clean.

Make sure the steering column u/j is not partially seized,I would check this out ,,can be misleading if it's sticky

A hard acceleration at near full lock and mine will feel like the power steering conks out for a second or two. No pumping sensation, and I don't know what you mean by cavitation, but thought I'd mention this as I think others have experienced the same.
