Problem bleeding bongo diesel

Hello, Im new to this and would appreciate some advice. I have changed the coolant on my Bongo and at the same time the thermostat which is a mazda one. Filled system with coolant using a method off of fury site but struggling to get up to temp as electric fans are starting to run before the bottom hose is getting even the slightest bit warm, top hose is hot to touch, Im thimking this is an airlock and that the thermostat isnt opening, also the heater is only blowing luke warm and I flushed out the radiator before I refilled the system. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Gary.

Sounds like you might not be bleeding all the air out or something. Are you trying the see-saw funnel method? Filling and bleeding are different things...

have a look on youtube, there are 3 video's titled how to bleed a mazda bongo. these may help.

without knowing the bongo it sounds like you may not have got a flow around the system, an airlock or a blocked rad or heater/s matrix is usually the cause.
try squeezing several of the larger pipes to/from the front rad, this can help push the trapped air out. airlocks are usually in the front heater matrix (highest point) or in the pipes to and from the front rad where it dips from the engine.

Thanks for your input, I will check the heater matrix for to get any air out. Yes everything was OK before I dropped water out.
