Anyone used one of these gadgets? The white cover on the exteral socket keeps flapping about when im driving. its new never been used but seems slack when i open and close it. The wee lug is in situ ,can anyone tell me if im doing anything wrong when i try to close the cover?

Just had a look at mine and it closes OK but needs a firm push to get it to lock. Can't really see what the problem can be as it's not a very complicated fitting.

All fixed up, the small plastic tang which locates the cover has a thin slot to allow for wear n tear. Ive taken a small piece of spring metal from a picture hook and inserted into the slot this has expanded the tang enough to ensure it gets a firm grip , no more flapping about.
