MOT etc in North West

Post by markov1723 » Mon Dec 17, 2012 2:44 pm

Hi, hope everyone is well and bought me all the Bongo gifts i want for Giftmas ;-)

Joking aside, I will be having my first Bongo MOT in Feb and want to get through it nicely.

Can anyone recommend a good Bongo friendly garage for MOT and serice etc?

When MOT'd for sale I had mild notice on the rear brake pads and one of the tyres. The tyre has been replaced since then.

Rust was noted on the sills but this is more paint bubbling, which I have noticed in a couple of other places (some behind the body kit).. is this an issue? My plan is to clean back, treat and repaint where need be but wanted expert views.. and this is wher you come in ;-)

Two options. I used Alan's garage on Allenby Rd in St Annes for my MOT, got through
first time. He has done MOT's for other Bongos.

Service wise I use Mitchell Bros at Garstang. Ian knows his onions and can do
all the important stuff.

Apparently Broadway garage in Blackpool, near Arnold School is on the bongo garage
list. Not used them though. Yet...
