Rattle in side door

Post by Harry » Thu Jul 27, 2006 6:01 pm

Having just got my manifold studs (squeal), my radiator leak (curry smell)
Cam belt change (70,000km overdue) all sorted out..she who must not be named now says that a rattle in the side door is driving her crackers (I can't hear it as it is on my deaf side when driving).

Managed to lever off trim panel and can just reach one hand in and feel some 'loose' bits but can't remove the internal door handle to get better access...anyone know how it is done before I break summut?

thanks

There is a diagram on the forum somewhere. but there is a little wire c-shaped clip which you can get to between the handle & trim & pull off with a hooked paper clip or similar.
