Soft cover for Bongo spare wheel

Post by Bongoleo » Tue Oct 23, 2012 3:49 pm

I am thinking of carrying the spare inside the van to avoid having to go down the mine any more for either emergency of maintenance. Is a correct size of cover available for the Bongo spare?

There won't be a bespoke wheel cover - however, there should be a generic Mazda cover available on the net....eBay springs to mind!

I got a soft cover from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/mktuningltd. They do a range for various wheel sizes and tyre thicknesses.

Big advantage of the cover David is that it zips closed and has a carrying handle. No escaped spare wheel trundling round the back and its easier to lift, by the handle, than having a fight with bin bags.

Further point madam lurcher leaves the wheel cover alone, whereas bin bags would be a great opportunity for a game of rip the bag to pieces.
