continental tyres = bouncing bongo

Post by riv » Mon Jul 24, 2006 4:25 pm

I have just had new tyres fitted I requested that continental tyres were used and lo and behold 195/70 vancos on the front and 215/65 vanco contact 2 on the rear , these were rejected as they are different tread patterns and weight loading , vancos have a much higher load than the contact 2 and this has a very interesting effect on handling (these are still fitted but not paid for) a phone call to continental revealed that neither tyre is now made in both sizes despite the info on there web site so where to go now??

Riv,
Try here:

It won't solve your immediate problem but will give you an idea about which tyres are best for Bongo.
