Rear gas struts

Not had a look yet but need to remove rear gas struts for Re gas. Are they easy to get off?

Yes, but make sure you have something substantial to hold the tailgate up, it's amazingly heavy.
Make sure that when you take them off they are at full extension or they will shoot out fully.
Had ours on the old Bongo done here.

They will up the pressure a bit as well providing the seals are OK if you have the bike rack on.
