Rock n Roll Waterproof Cover

Post by alimey » Fri Sep 28, 2012 3:25 pm

I wonder if anyone knows an off the shelf waterproof cover for a rock n roll bed (when folded as a seat). It's now the rainy season (isn't it always?) and I'm worried my dogs will migrate from the floor of the Bongo onto the seat. So I would really like to just stretch a waterproof & tough cover over it.

Any ideas? Many thanks.

There are so many different sizes, shapes & style of R&R beds, so may be tricky to find a one-size-fits-all solution. Places like Halfords do waterproof covers for rear car seats so you may get lucky. Other option is to get some waterproof tent material (quite cheap on ebay) & make something that's custom made.

We use a shower curtain! Okay; it's not the most stylish way to cover seats, but it's low cost and works pretty well if tucked in or held on with the o ring loops to stop it sliding off.

Driving back from a muddy walk today I decided I would try my waterproof picnic rug. It works fine as you can tuck it down the edge of the mattress. Of course it wouldn't work if there were people in the back as you couldn't get the seat belts through - but the people would keep the dogs off!!
