Folding & telescopic table leg

Post by dom_e » Sun Sep 23, 2012 8:06 pm

I'm looking for a slim line folding table leg, with the ability to extend within a reasonable range (we use the table inside and outside the Bongo. For outside, it the leg needs to extend further so we can use the table standing up).

Our current leg that came with our Bongo does the job okay, but it's a bit bulky and doesn't fold flat enough to store neatly.

There seem to be a few options, but no clear pictures on the various campervan supply websites. Can anybody recommend a make and model?

I made mine from a alloy mop handle, try Ebay

I would used one of these

and one of these

The top pole clamps are stronger than the plastic ones sold with the clothes props, just check the tubing sizes first as they come in different sizes

Reimo make all that kind of stuff. I've got one like this, but with large flat foot at the bottom:

This is the one I have:

Many thanks. A few options to explore. I like the DIY (low cost!) options!

Edit - turns out that the Reimo one is what we have at the moment.
