Hi All,
Do any of you know if the engine fan should cut off on switch off?
A couple of times now I've come to the end of a journey and the fan has been running, as soon as I turn the engine off the fan stops... In other cars I've had the fan will run on until it's finished it's work.
Should it run on with the Bongo?

That's normal: the fan(s) switch off with the ignition. It can be a good idea to let the engine tick over for a few minutes after a long run if the fans are still on. It's good practice with the diesel engine to let the turbo slow down while there is still oil pressure so give it a few seconds at least after you've come to a halt. In Japan, a lot of vehicles have turbo timers fitted so the engine continues to run after the ignition key is removed. I believe in the UK these are not legal.

Thanks for update. That's set my mind at ease.
