Those seem expensive when you can get these off ebay:

....and it is advisable to fit new u-brackets when changing the bushes as the old ones may fail upon fitting new bushes.
However, I took a tip from Dandywarhol and re-sleeved the front bushes on mine using cycle tyre inner tube. That was 4 years ago and I've not had a peep out of them since. Also, the original u-brackets are almost certainly more durable than the cheap replacements off ebay, and I've only had one fail (irritating though as the new rubber bush fell off and was lost as a result

). So I wonder if this is a job that could be kept cheap and simple - they are only 'cooking engineering' after all.
