Bongo Fury

My Bongo is off the road in need of a gearbox oil seal. We have one on order but it could be late September before it arrives. We were due to go on holiday to France on the 14th.
Can anyone help with the supply of the seal or have any idea where I can get one next week.

The seal is the one in front of the gearbox, behind the torque converter

if you can get the old one out and measure it or get the spec from somewhere, these guys are good.

Does anyone have the dimensions ? [Oil seal at the front of the gearbox behind the torque converter]

you could at a push wait till its out then measure, these guys are quick to send.
have you tried ava leisure or allans at plymouth, or julian at 321 away. they may have one sat on the shelf, or have the spec.

We don't know the part number yet. Where did you get this number from.
I understand this gearbox is a Jatco R4A EL and may be the same as a Nissan gearbox. If so Nissan may have a seal. Can anyone confirm this ?

A full parts list /exploded diagrams of the autobox is in the members fact sheet area .. you could try www.automaticchoice.com for the seal(s)

This seal is in fact compatible with some Nissan boxes ,what seal have you ordered,do you have the order details.
