Haydn overheat alarm wiring
Ive bought a haydn overheat alarm from fleabay. It's the older model that's about six inches long, three LED readouts on the front and two set buttons in the r/h end. I know what the wiring is, but I'm confused as to what the blue and white wires are for. I can't seem to reach Haydn on his phone number. Anybody??

Re: Haydn overheat alarm wiring
I think what DeeBee has is the Cube alarm which has two sensor inputs: orange/white & blue/white (I think, from memory), plus 2 wires for 12V & maybe one more as an output to control a fan via relay. There are 3 displays on the front for temp 1, 2 & voltage. If you only connect one of the two temp sensor up, it will start beeping when you get about 20 degrees as it is triggered by differential as well as absolute values. In simple terms, you need a second sensor (thermistor) on the other wires which is located in a similar place on the engine to the first sensor.
I may have the instructions somewhere, but finding them will be the challenge.
