Parts No Longer Available

If a vehicle is manufactured within the EU there is an obligation by manufacturers to make parts available for 10 years. No such obligation exists for vehicles made outside the EU, and increasingly we may find that parts for Bongos & fredas are no longer available. This is starting to happen for early models (95/96) and I will list here any parts we know that are no longer available.

Really? I thought I heard once it was the same autobox as fitted to London taxis. Urban myth? What's the workaround, short of a complete autobox from a breaker?

Don't they just refurbish old ones? What would make this thread really interesting is if a workaround could be posted for each no long available part. Otherwise, peeps might feel a sense of (unjustified?) hopelessness

Yes the trend is/was to use refurbished injector pumps, the price of a new IP would make your wallet cringe..

We would need to know the diameter and thickness I guess, along with profile if not circular ?
