Coolant top up?

Post by Rebiam » Tue Jun 26, 2012 10:42 am

Hi all - when cold my coolant level shows half full on the expansion tank. I would like to top it up and I can see it is green. Should I get some green to top up or should I use water (tap or deoinised??)? I have read quite a bit about which coolant to use, not to mix different sorts etc. When I get time I will drain, flush and bleed as per the fact sheet and excellent you tube video, but in the meantime which is the best course of action?

Cheers all

if in doubt just use ordinary water or filtered if you are in a hard water area.
