Hey Guys.
I recently ordered some HT leads from the UK for my V6 1998 facelift. When they arrived I went to fit them and the numbers regarding plug order are totally different to the ones on my bongo and the lengths are different also. Am I right in thinking the new leads could be for a 1999 Bongo instead and is the 1999 Bongo running a different V6 engine. I did think about pulling them all off and pairing up the lengths to see if they would fit. The numbers won't match up though. Is this a bad idea?
cheers
Mike

Re: HT lead query
As far as I know all V6's use the same HT leads.
Are the ones you bought gen Mazda ??? (about £180 for full set of 7)
If not gen..that could be the problem.

Re: HT lead query
Both the V6's use the same engine (with very small tweaks). The leads all fit.
Re: HT lead query
Hi,
Just match with the old leads and renumber them.
PS you dont really need numbers on them,if you know number 1 lead, the firing order and the rotation of the arm, numbered leads are a luxury.
Cheers.

Scrap that.. only 5 in the box.. I'll try and work out where the other 2 went...If I find them I'll update you.
Re: HT lead query
All sorted thanks guys it looks like a couple of leads were numbered incorrectly. That's what you get if you pay 50 pounds for 7 leads (non geniune).
