hose change

Post by ozzyzappa » Thu May 10, 2012 6:42 pm

I have recently purchased a diesel bongo N reg. I have read alot about overheating etc.
I am unsure if the coolant hoses have been changed-should any or all hoses be renewed as a precautionary measure? Or left alone as they are not causing any problems.

Check each hose carefully (if you are not sure get someone to do it for you) and replace as required..pay attention to the big fat one under the drivers seat and the thinner one that runs over the starter motor , again under the drivers seat.....If you change any you will need to refill with coolant mix and BLEED it....Get the Bleedeing factsheet and watch the You Tube vidio's.

Do fit a Low Coolant Alarm if not fitted ....these give warning of coolant loss in most cases.
