Hello,
I have a manual 4wd Bongo running on standard steel 15" wheels and i want to put someting bigger on, is it OK to upgrade to 16 or 17's without causing any damage to the viscous coupling / 4wd components?

Re: 4WD WHEEL UPGRADE
Yes, as long as you keep the wheels and tyres the same size all round.
You can use this calculator to see what size tyres go with the relevant size wheels http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html

Re: 4WD WHEEL UPGRADE
Hi John,
Thanks for your prompt reply,
I was thinking about RX8 alloys as i think thy look nice on the bongo, just need to get 5 in case of a puncture then.
Any OEM direct replacement suggestions would be appreciated

Re: 4WD WHEEL UPGRADE
Rx8 alloys are all 18". Tyres are quite rare in correct load rating and expensive. I have them on mine and considering dropping down an inch or two ans selling them. You can use a standard wheel for the spare as the have the same rolling radius
