My reversing alarm has lost the plot!
It's thrown a wobbly and now either sulks silently or screams hysterically. Can anyone tell me where the brute is located? I presume the switch is under the centre console somewhere.

Hi,
This might help,if you only want to stop the reversing beeper, remove the red wire with the yellow tracer(on the plug)that should stop the reversing beep..

Have you got ultrasonic reversing sensors, or just the regular annoying beepy thing?
Re: My reversing alarm has lost the plot!
I've got after-market reversing sensors with a little unit containing a speaker and flashing red light, as well as the 'regular annoying beepy thing'. Both seem to be playing up at the moment, which seems odd as I didn't think they were connected in any way, though as I didn't fit the sensor system I don't know if that's the case or not. I shall cut the beepy thing's life support line tomorrow as suggested, and see what effect that might have on the other system.Simon Jones wrote:Have you got ultrasonic reversing sensors, or just the regular annoying beepy thing?
