I've done a quick search but couldn't see anything... I was wondering if we had missed something really obvious when putting up our AFT? We make sure the handbrake is on and it's in Park but sometimes the top just doesn't lift. Not a peep. Yet other times, it works fine.
Anything we're not doing? Not too worried as we got it from a reliable dealer with a good warranty, so we can just drop it back if we have to, but I'd feel a right numpty if it was something as simple as a switch we haven't pressed!
TIA.

Hi,
Its probably a Dicky switch on the hand brake, they are a bit heath-Robinson.( might need a wee bit of a bend)
Cheers.

Re: AFT intermittent?
If the red handbrake warning light comes on ok on the dashboard then it indicates the switch is working fine.
Re: AFT intermittent?
Thanks for the replies - OH lifted the console and tightened the switch by the handbrake. Hey presto - all working!
