i am changing the oil pan gasket on the gearbox at the weekend going to put fresh oil in the gearbox what grade do i use?

Remove ...clean..replace the mesh filter and "blow" through the in/out pipes to the rad cooler whilst you are under there.

I think you will need around 5 liters.

Hi, Jimbob i,am about to do mine this weekend.can you let know how you got a new gasket and at wot cost,as most of the experts say just clean up the old one and re-use it. but i like to replace joints.

dexron 3 is correct, but oil specs have moved on a mile in 15 years.
i use millermatic atf DM, good stuff but expensive, but i will never need to do it again,(unless i get the mileage muz has ).

Genuine Mazda Gasket on Fleabay 25 notes im only changing it coz some muppet before me decided to put a silly amount of silicone all the way round the old one now drips oil all over the place doing my head in abit so thought i will change it.
