Internal/External temperature gauge

Post by gasace » Sun Jan 22, 2012 5:38 pm

Has anyone fitted an internal/external temperature gauge to a side conversion? if so where did you put the external probe?

I have just bought one of these on "a well known auction site" the lead is 1.5 meters long, and I was hoping to fit it on the cupboard next to the sink and them run the probe out underneath the floor. But :? (there is always a but, isn't there?) I'm not sure if it will survive the wet conditions under the Bongo.

Any help most welcome.

Thanks

I fitted one next to the interior mirror and led the pickup wire into the gap forward of the driver's door, in the inner wing - tried to stop draughts affecting the temp but it did give a false reading in direct sunlight
