Is it possible to disable passenger airbag for baby seat?

Post by weeginger73 » Sun Jan 15, 2012 8:04 pm

Hi everyone,

We have a baby on the way and dont want to part with our beloved bongo, however it has a rock and roll bed in the back in which we wouldnt feel safe putting the child carseat. So we think our main option is to disable the passenger airbag. Does anyone know if this is possible? Or even legal? And if so how much should it cost? I've heard a switch could be installed to turn it on and off but I'm not sure?

Any advice would be appreciated.
