resonance

Post by nicstrike » Sat Nov 05, 2011 8:52 pm

on a recent long trip it became clear that we were experiencing some boomy resonance between 55-65 but totally quietens by 70.at times it can be quite tiring and intrusive , aswell as persuading you to go just that bit faster. i am assuming that it is probably exhaust related (new , mild steel) as opposed to bearings/tyres but it does seem (not always easy to tell , i know) to coming from the front. any suggestions?

Dos it disappear when you press the hold button? If so then it isn't engine/exhaust related as the engine revs will rise
