Replacement Metal Rear Wheel Arch?

Post by Bongo Tong » Thu Oct 20, 2011 8:12 pm

My Bongo has some bubbling rust over the right rear wheel arch and I am looking for a replacement metal rear wheel arch but I cannot find one nor can I find any reference to one on the site. I know you can get the plastic ones but I need something more drastic. I have tried contacting Bongo Bits both by phone and email but they have not replied. It would have been handy if they had them as I live in Devon. Any ideas? I looked on the part finder but the only thing I thought could have been looking for was called an apron. Is that the same thing?

Depending on how bad it is, I just cleaned up, fillered, and resprayed mine. It took less than a day to do, The result is Excellent and several months later there is no sign of recurrence. Search for 'vaseline' to find my old post on doing it.
