1st mission in bertie bongo !! With pics

Post by missy the mooch » Sun Oct 02, 2011 8:36 pm

Hello all

Have had our bongo just over a week and went on our 1st camp this weekend. We all had a lovely time ( really helped by the weather !). Our lovely bertie had been washed, polished and tarted up inside with some girlie funishings. It had also had a thorough going over by mike (mikexgough). Thanks Mike. And is running like a dream.

We live in St Neots and as there is a campsite round the corner so decided to give it a go there (handy to go local in case we forgot anything!!). Thoroughly recommend the camp site, very clean and modern facilities. Lovely by the river too. Had a khyam awning which was really easy to set up and down even tho we had no instructions !

So all in all a hugh success had by all especially kids and dog.

A few pics to show off our bertie bongo .

Hi Mike :)

Yes your quite right planning next one already.. :D

Probably stay local again and try Top end Farm in Little Staughton. Think there was a meet there recently.

Thanks again for all your help.

Hello Aitch - Thankyou

Yes its quite possibly the same place as it does flood round here quite alot !! The campsite is closed over winter probably because of the flooding issues ( not sure tho ). We do recommend it tho its very friendly and pretty and clean. If you fancy trying it next year will be very happy to meet with you there :) :)

Thankyou Missfixit . The body is that of a tired but happy 8 yr old boy who had been running around the campsite
for the last 24 hours :D :D !! Both our boys had a lovely time tho i think our dog was a bit bemused by it all - she couldnt understand why her favouite sofa wasn't there :lol:

Now that is interesting!! :shock:

First time in nearly six years when we see someone else using the front seats as part of the bed! Good on you.

Enjoy =D>
