There's a few threads/links here that may help - http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... =3&t=51017
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

I'd check the roof hinges, motors etc. If it was mine I'd put the roof up and check the workings very carefully. The link Miss fixit is a good one.

Hope you get it sorted.

Checked roof and the motor has come loose off the mounting at passenger side and all the cable workings have been drawn through the motors hence when i lowered the roof it twisted as one side only powererd up and cracked the roof.got the roof down but had to disconect all runners etc so no the roof is not locked down and is still beeping.Any help would be gratefull.

not wanting to alarm you but that happened to ours too, we managed to get it fixed with just WD40 on the side that got stuck but eventually had to buy a new roof from scrap to replace the cracked one. You can't fix it, we tried boat repairers, caravan places and all sorts. Sorry.

Hi, thanks for the info i have taken it for repair hopefully to get it working and resecure the motor by mounting the motor all the way through the roof and recable it up.Hopefully the cracked roof with be repairable as it is at the side and i have been told it is in a none stessed area.
many thanks.
P.S everybody check the mortor mounts securely and that the plastic motor mounts have not give way with age of the old plastic.
